OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY
Hi there! We’re Kokonut Collectables, an Australian online store born from the shared childhood dreams of two best friends—a husband-and-wife duo who fell in love with Pokémon as 10-year-olds. From the games and cards to all the nostalgic memorabilia, our passion for Pokémon and trading card games (TCGs) has only grown stronger over the years.
Collecting is what we do.
Watching fans miss out on their favorite sets, especially with new releases selling out instantly, broke our hearts. In 2024, we decided to take action, and Kokonut Collectables was born. Inspired by our lovable pet monster at home (who’s just as unique as a Pokémon), our mission is simple: to bring you the cards you love, including hard-to-find treasures sourced directly from Japan and beyond. We’re working on expanding into cards in multiple languages to celebrate the multicultural diversity of Aussie Pokémon fans.
At Kokonut Collectables, we aim to make TCGs accessible to everyone—whether you’re a seasoned collector or a hobbyist just starting out.
Where We’re Headed
Right now, we’re proudly online-only, but we have big dreams. Our ultimate goal? To open a physical store that’s more than just a shop—it’s a community hub. We envision a space large enough for meetups, epic tournaments, and a place where fans can hang out, open packs, and trade cards. We’ve experienced the shortcomings of other stores firsthand, and we’re determined to create a better, more welcoming experience for everyone.
